About Alan Milavetz
Alan Milavetz has been an attorney in Minnesota for forty years. A graduate of the University of Minnesota and William Mitchell College of Law, Alan is the president of Milavetz Law. He has been recognized by Minnesota Lawyer as an Attorney of the Year twice, once for a case that made its way to the United States Supreme Court. The second recognition was for his pro bono work with the Friends of B’nai Abraham, a nonprofit organization that worked to renovate the oldest standing synagogue in Minnesota.
As the author of a family genealogy book, Jewish Tracks, Alan has had a lifelong interest in genealogy and Jewish history. He has explored his ancestors’ history through genealogy, ancient stories, modern genetics, and travels to Poland, Lithuania, Ukraine, Israel, and throughout Europe.
